Magnetic Particles

Magnetic Beads.jpgMagnetic beads are new type of magnetic material developed in recent years. It is a composite microsphere with certain magnetic properties and special structure formed by combining magnetic inorganic particles with organic polymer molecules by appropriate methods. This magnetic beads have two remarkable characteristics: one is its superparamagnetism, which shows magnetism in the presence of magnetic field and then disappears rapidly when the magnetic field is removed; the other is the characteristics of polymer particles that can chemically modify its surface to give it a variety of bioactive functional groups (such as-OH, -COOH, -NH2, etc.). Magnetic beads are composite materials containing nanomagnetic particles inside and polymer shells as carriers outside, which are widely used in organic solid phase synthesis and biomolecular immobilization. Immobilized biomolecules are usually used as compounds for affinity isolation and analysis in biomedical and bioengineering research and practice, and can also be used as catalysts or drugs for biological reactions.

Magnetic microspheres can be divided into nuclear shell, reverse shell, sandwich and diffusion according to their structural characteristics. Abvigen can provide magnetic microspheres with different materials and different structural features, and the surface can be modified with different groups.
